Minneapolis, Minnesota:
Turn Your Passion into a Career in Permanent Makeup
If you’ve ever dreamed of building a career where art meets impact, permanent makeup is one of the most rewarding paths in beauty today. The demand for skilled brow artists is growing faster than ever — and this is your chance to step into an industry that changes lives while giving you the freedom to design your own.
What makes my apprenticeship different? Me. With over 16 years in the beauty industry, 10 years working as a celebrity makeup artist, and now a reputation as one of Minnesota’s top brow experts, I know exactly what it takes to succeed. I’ve mastered Nano Realism Brows, Microblading, and advanced tattoo techniques — and I pass that knowledge directly to my apprentices.
This isn’t just about learning strokes and pigment. My students graduate with proven mapping methods, client communication skills, and the confidence to deliver results that keep clients coming back. Think of me not just as your trainer, but as the mentor who can shorten your learning curve, guide your artistry, and show you how to actually thrive in this industry.
From your first model to your last hour, I’ll be there hands-on — so when you graduate, you’re not just licensed, you’re ready to launch a career you love.
Launch Your Career
With Confidence
In Minnesota, the State requires every aspiring cosmetic tattoo artist to complete a 200-hour apprenticeship under a licensed supervisor — but not all apprenticeships are created equal. This is where the difference between simply checking off your hours and truly becoming an artist begins.
When you apprentice with me, you’ll get far more than supervised hours. You’ll gain:
Direct training and feedback from one of Minnesota’s top brow and cosmetic tattoo artists.
Hands-on experience with live models so you graduate confident, not just certified.
A solid foundation in Nano Brows, Microblading, and cosmetic tattoo artistry.
Guidance on client communication, artistry, and the business side of beauty.
I take on only a limited number of apprentices at a time because I pour so much into each one — your growth, your artistry, and your confidence matter to me. This isn’t just about logging hours; it’s about having a mentor who’s fully invested in your success.
Spots are extremely limited. Apply now to secure your apprenticeship and take the first step toward becoming a licensed cosmetic tattoo artist.

My apprenticeship program is designed to do more than just check the box for Minnesota’s 200-hour requirement, it’s built to truly prepare you for a successful career in permanent makeup.
As my apprentice, you’ll train directly under me, gaining hands-on experience two days a week with live models, real clients, and practical applications that go far beyond classroom theory. The first four model days are completed right by my side, with step-by-step guidance to ensure you feel confident from the very beginning.
You’ll learn:
Advanced techniques in Nano Brows, Microblading, and cosmetic tattooing
Mapping methods that create natural, symmetrical results
Color theory and pigment selection for every skin tone
Client communication skills to build lasting relationships
Aftercare, healing, and troubleshooting so you can deliver the best long-term results
What makes my program different is the level of mentorship you receive. I limit the number of apprentices I take on so that I can invest deeply into each one, giving you my personal attention, real-time feedback, and insider knowledge it usually takes years in the industry to figure out.
Most apprentices complete their 200 hours in about four months or sooner, graduating with the confidence and skillset to launch a career you love.
-
In Minnesota you must complete two hundred hours of supervised cosmetic tattooing with a licensed supervisor. My PMU apprenticeship fulfills that requirement in a structured, hands on setting. I guide you through every hour, the paperwork, and the steps you take with the Department of Health so you finish confident and ready for licensure.
-
Most apprentices complete their program in about four to six months, training two days per week. This pace is designed to keep your momentum strong without overwhelming your lifestyle, so you can grow steadily while balancing other commitments.
But here’s the difference, you’re not just racing to log hours. With my mentorship, every session builds your skills, confidence, and artistry so that by the time you reach your 200-hour requirement, you feel truly prepared to step into your career.
And if life gets busy? Don’t worry. I continue supporting you until you’ve completed your hours and feel 100% ready to take clients on your own. You’ll never be rushed through the process — instead, you’ll get the perfect blend of structure, flexibility, and personal guidance to ensure your success.
-
Most programs are designed to check a box log hours, get a certificate, and move on. My apprenticeship is different because it’s not just about hours, it’s about mastery.
You’ll train directly under me, with a mentor who is present at every stage. From your very first model to your last, you’ll have my eyes on your work, giving you real-time feedback, refined techniques, and insider strategies I use every day on paying clients.
I keep my program intentionally small, so you’re never lost in a crowd or waiting for attention. Instead, you’ll have direct access to me, learning how to create results that look beautiful in real life (not just for Instagram), building confidence with live clients, and receiving honest coaching that accelerates your growth.
The goal here isn’t just to walk away with a certificate. The goal is to graduate with the skills, portfolio, and confidence to book clients and build a thriving career in cosmetic tattooing.
-
You will learn Nano Brows, microblading, and cosmetic tattoo fundamentals that apply across techniques. We cover stroke flow, density planning, saturation control, machine handling, and when to choose hair strokes versus a soft shaded approach for different skin types and previous work.

Great! This apprenticeship is perfect if you want to solidify technique, build a real portfolio on live models, and complete the Minnesota requirement with strong mentorship. We will honor what you know and fill the gaps so your work becomes consistent and marketable.

No. Minnesota licensure for cosmetic tattooing is separate. A fundamentals PMU course is expected before you start the apprenticeship. If you need a recommendation, ask during your application and I can point you to approved options.
-
A very limited number. I cap enrollment so I can pour my time and attention into each artist. This is how you get rapid progress, consistent results, and the confidence to charge what you are worth.
-
Once you’ve successfully finished your apprenticeship, you won’t just be sent on your way. If space allows, you’ll have the opportunity to stay on at Haven as a renter and immediately begin building your own permanent makeup business inside a beautiful, established studio environment.
Even better, you won’t be doing it alone. I’ll be there to help guide you through setting up your business, marketing yourself, and learning what it takes to thrive as an independent artist. And as a bonus, if you choose to continue your career at Haven, you’ll have my ongoing mentorship, support, and encouragement whenever you need it.
Graduation isn’t the end — it’s the launchpad to your career, with me cheering you on every step of the way!
